“The Australia Awards Scholarship has been a unique opportunity to grow as a person by being exposed to new cultures, societies and customs with different values that I’ve been able to adopt and practice for society’s and my own personal benefit. Academically speaking, my abilities have been extended to a new excellence level, being capable to adapt to new requirements and new knowledge systems. At the same time, I’ve managed to expand my social network towards other nations and continents, where I’m no longer a stranger, and have friends that share this experience with me.

Studying in Australia has given me a new vision of my country and its development objectives. Using the models that other nations have used to grow, I can visualize a society in which peace and stability are possible, and where resources are correctly managed.

Among the challenges that I've faced, I consider that being in an academic system different from that in Latin America has been interesting. However, this is an opportunity to discover new talents and develop new skills that adapt to the new requirements. I can now use these skills in other contexts that used to be inaccessible.

The Australia Awards Leadership Program has been one of the best ways to relate with future leaders at a global level. Nowadays nations collaborate in a closer way though their leaders and the networks that connect them. It is possible to build this with the Australia Awards Leadership Program, that's excellent in all aspects and doesn't spare any expenses in order to provide the Australia Awards Scholarship Scholars with what's best for them.

If you want to grow, this is an opportunity that can change your life. If you're willing to and are prepared, don't hesitate. If you are willing to but are not yet convinced, I encourage you to continue with your efforts until you reach your goal, for the award can be very valuable. Go for it!"
