The application period to start studies in Australia in the academic year 2014 opens on 1 February, 2013, and closes on 30 April, 2013 (at 23:59, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

Note: Latin American applicants must consider the time zone difference between Australia and Latin American countries. Applications or supporting documents received after the closing hour will not be considered.

It is essential to have completed a bachelor degree and to have the degree or academic transcript in order to apply.

Postgraduate Programs – what courses are available, visit the Australian universities and find the most suitable Masters or PhD program for you, keeping in mind the objectives and priority sectors of the AusAID Australia Awards Scholarships for Latin America.

Supporting documents – You can see here what documents you must present when you apply and what type of certification you need for each one.

Checklist – Make sure you satisfy all the mentioned requirements and documents in the Checklist before you submit your application; on the contrary your application will be discarded for being incomplete.

Start your application ONLINE - This tab will take you to the OASIS website, where you will start your application ONLINE. You will be able to save your application until it is ready to submit or until the application period is over. You will also find tips to ensure that your application is complete.

We strongly recommend applying online. Only those who do not have internet access can do it via postal service. To do so, they must fill in the application form and send it with the required supporting documentation.

Hardcopy applications must be sent by express service and must be received before 30 April, 2013, at 5:00 PM local time in Chile.

Hardcopy applications received after that date and time will not be considered in the selection process.

Additionally, proof of express service with the applicant's name must be sent before 25 April, 2013, via e-mail to becasadslatam@studyinaustralia.gov.au
