Espresso and Long Espresso

The original espresso is a cup that contains 30ml of extracted coffee starting from 7 grams of fresh coffee beans in the machine in a specific time period. A perfect espresso has a beautiful layer of hazelnut color “coffee cream”. It is also known as “a shot of espresso” and it is the base to make each espresso based beverage (like the café latte, cappuccino, mochaccion, etc. )

The long espresso long is an extension of the espresso coffee. It is the best way we have found to name what has been known in Chile as an espresso. The espresso long is the same as an espresso (1 shot of espresso), but boiling water is added until the cup is full. This results in a more diluted coffee. It´s approximately 60ml of extracted coffee mixed with boiling water.
Café Latte

This is a classic in the Melbourne coffee culture. It is served in a crystal French glass. A café latte is made with a rich and strong base of an espresso shot that is softly mixed with milk warmed up in the vaporizer at a temperature between 60-65°.

The milk should acquire a fine and soft texture with few bubbles. It is served carefully to make sure that only 1cm layer of foam is left at the top of the glass. In a certain way it replaces the café cortado or coffee with milk. The latte is the correct and refined version of mixing coffee and vaporized milk.

Art Latte

Art Latte is a more sophisticated method of making café latte. The most experienced baristas manage to make designs and shapes on the surface of the coffee cup, an art that is learned after many hours of practice and technique.

Macchiato

A macchiato is an espresso coffee with a little bit of milk or dense foam. The foam is carefully added to the center of the coffee with a spoon. The macchiato can be served in an espresso glass or cup. There are even some strong coffee lovers that request a double macchiato, a coffee with a double shot of espresso.
Cappuccino

Very elegant in its presentation, the cappuccino coffee is prepared similar to the café latte, but it contains more foam, taller and ends in the shape of a dome. A chocolate powder over the foam is added to obtain a delicately sweet flavor with the first sip. It is served in a porcelain cup, in the most classic Italian style.
Mochaccino

It is the sweet result after mixing a shot of espresso and a chocolate base. It is prepared the same way as a cappuccino but with a chocolate base. The chocolate powder is sprinkled on top of the foam.
American

Perhaps it is the most similar to the coffee you drink every day without milk. The big difference is that it is made with perfectly extracted fresh coffee bean, delivering better taste and aromas in your cup. The size is approximately 230 ml of coffee mixed with boiling water.
Flat White

Created in Australia, it is the same as a café latte, but with a very thin layer of foam of approximately 2mm. it is served in a porcelain cup. ¡it is a touch of homesickness for the Aussies who visit us at Melbourne café!
Chai Latte

It is a delicious mixture of black tea, cinnamon, clove and other typical Indian spices, that are prepared with vaporized milk the same way as the café latte but without coffee. Another Melbourne beverage brought from the Australian culture.
Hot Chocolate

During the cold winter days our hot chocolate prepared with exquisite foam and sweet chocolate is a real energy booster.
Mocha Hot Chocalate

This is a stronger and sweeter drink for caffeine lovers. This beverage is prepared with hot chocolate and a shot of espresso.
