As Senior Executive Vice President, The Americas, Vanessa Hudson is responsible for all aspects of Qantas Airways commercial operations for the United States, Canada and South America. Vanessa Hudson was appointed to her current position in October 2013 and relocated to the U.S. headquarters in Los Angeles from the Qantas Corporate office in Sydney.

Vanessa’s career in the Airline Industry has spanned 20 years during which time she has held a diverse range of senior commercial, customer, operational and financial positions. Prior to her current appointment, Vanessa served as the company’s Executive Manager of Commercial Planning, accountable for strategy development, network planning, revenue management and securing vital airport infrastructure. She was instrumental in the development and management of the Airbus A380 product, introduction of Premium Economy and the Domestic next generation check-in product, as well as the flagship first class lounges in Sydney, Melbourne and London, during her 5 year tenure as Executive Manager of Product and Services.
