Civil Engineering and Business Administration graduate of the Catholic University of Chile.

He has a long track record as businessman in the agricultural and agribusiness sectors, operating in the Municipal District of Chépica, Palmilla and Marchigue of the Provinces of Colchagua and Cardenal Caro, Region VI of Libertador General Bernardo O`Higgins. He has vast knowledge in the fields of cereals, wine grapes, olive trees and plums, drying plants, grain silos, grain mills for making grits and cornmeal, cattle feed manufacturing plants and fruit dehydrating plants.

To date, he is President of the Canal Población Association in the Province of Colchagua, President of the Water and Cereals Committee of the National Association of Agriculture and President of CODESSER, an educational affiliate for the promotion of development of the National Association of Agriculture.
