Jean-Paul Luksic holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (United Kingdom).

At present, he is Chairman of Antofagasta PLC (United Kingdom) and President of the Board of Directors of Antofagasta Minerals S.A, Antofagasta Railway Co. P.L.C. and Aguas Antofagasta. He is Vice President of Quiñenco S.A. and Director of Banco Chile and SM SAAM S.A.
He is also Chairman of the Chilean Mining Council (“Consejo Minero”).
